I’m Caroline​,​ a French silversmith with a love for creating pieces that capture raw elegance through simplicity and timeless form. Through WARA DESIGNS​,​ my collections reflect a deep admiration for the ancient art of metal jewellery making across diverse cultures. Through clean​,​ geometric lines​,​ my designs echo the artistic heritage of civilizations from around the world. Living abroad has been transformative for both my life and my work. Immersed in a rich tapestry of global cultures​,​ I’ve shaped my design philosophy around these influences and committed to sustainability in everything I create. Though my love for silver began long before​,​ my journey as a silversmith truly started in Peru​,​ where I studied the craft. The name WARA DESIGNS is a tribute to the Aymara word for "stars​,​" honoring the place where I first explored the unique natural reactions that bring colorful patinas to metal—a signature in my work today. After refining my craft internationally​,​ I’m now continuing my jewelry-making journey here in Europe. Based in Berlin​,​ I embrace sustainable practices​,​ contributing to the slow fashion movement. I remain dedicated to blending ancient techniques with modern aesthetics to create timeless​,​ conscious pieces. I design and make every piece in my jewellery studio in Berlin using mainly metal like silver​,​ brass​,​ copper and their natural reaction.
